New River Retreat
Join us in Summersville, WV for an immersive yoga and climbing retreat designed for the adventurous spirit. This experience blends mindful movement, deep nature connection, and world-class climbing in one of the most breathtaking regions of the East Coast.
You’ll get to experience deep water soloing on Summersville Lake, where crystal-blue water meets towering sandstone walls — a rare chance to climb freely, fall safely, and play without fear. We’ll also spend time bouldering and sport climbing on some of the best rock in the country, supported by experienced local guides and a community of fellow movers and explorers.
In the evenings, we return to our beautifully situated cabin overlooking the New River Gorge, surrounded by forest, quiet, and sweeping mountain views. Expect slow, restorative practices, delicious shared meals, fireside connection, and the kind of conversations that only happen after a day of real movement and fresh air.
This retreat is for anyone craving a mix of challenge, nature, and soul — a place to reconnect with your body, your breath, and the wild part of you that comes alive outside.
Come climb, flow, explore, and recharge in one of the most awe-inspiring landscapes in West Virginia.

Meet Your Instructors: Kyle
Kyle grew up in Washington state where his first connections with nature and the great outdoors were fostered in the forests that bordered his childhood home. His parents passed along a growing love for the pursuit of outdoor activities by taking him camping, hiking, fishing, skiing, and sporting throughout his youth before he found and fell head over heels for climbing on rocks at the age of 19. Since then, climbing has been a vehicle for SO much of what continues to motivate and inspire Kyle, and has gifted him some incredible opportunities to coach, teach, connect with, and mentor hundreds of humans. Kyle has been climbing outside 3-7 days per week for 24 years now, and still feels just as motivated and fascinated as ever to continue the trend. His philosophy for experiencing 'life' to the fullest is centered around the endless lessons found in the vertical world, and he is eternally grateful for the places in climbing he keeps finding to plant more seeds and make more ripples that just may have the power to build something lasting in our community, and ultimately, in our world!
